What differentiates Hotjar from other similar products?
I am not aware of other heat map programs with a free version.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
HotJar has a free version that is adequate for high-level visitor behavior insights displayed in a way that makes sense even to non-technical clients.
What do you dislike most about this product?
HotJar segments data based on desktop, tablet, and phone users. However, there is no source/medium segmentation, so organic, paid, and social traffic are lumped into one report.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely give the free version a try. Implementing the code using Google Tag Manager works very well.

What differentiates Hotjar from other similar products?
Since I dont have much expirience with similiar product I cant tell the differentaties.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
That you can really get deep into analyzing your website/eshop and find errors/bugs that you wouldnt normally notice. Heatmaps and recordigs are extremely useful while we turn on a new country for a client, we can instantly see what are our customer doing, how they behave and so much more!
What do you dislike most about this product?
As said before, the basic free pricing used to have more features for free and daily sessions, so sadly we had to switch to plus version that brings a lot more, but also has a limitations
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Give it a try with their basic pricing and see the capabilities hotjar can provide for your bussines, it is absolutely worth a shot!

What differentiates Hotjar from other similar products?
Hotjar is another level website analytics tool. You can really understand visitor behaviour with screen recordings. It is very crucial for a seamless UX on your website.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Hotjar is a great tool to analyze your website and understand visitor behaviours. Especially the video recording of visitor movements is very helpful in understanding if there is any UX problem on your website. This feature is very useful, especially on A/B tests. And it anonymizes the user data on the screen recording making it totally GDPR compliant.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Setup and using the first time should be a bit difficult but once you start using the product it gets easier.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You can implement hotjar to your website and try it.
