What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
Pendo's online documentation is clear and helpful when figuring things out on my own. The Support team is very responsive.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Building in-app guides is very intuitive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The reporting could be more robust. It's easy to use but a bit limited.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Assign an internal owner that will take initiative and dig into all features so your team gets the most value from the product.

Their customer service is friendly, knowledgeable and dynamic.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Pendo enabled and empowered our product managers to experiment more frequently and to learn abotu our customers on a deeper level
What do you dislike most about this product?
The initial implementation and software learning curve was a bit challenging, but after this we were able to start reaping value pretty quicly
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Consider your goals. If depth of customer knowledge (without deep technical dives) are called for - this is a solid option

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
To me the biggest thing that sets Pendo apart is the ability to gather data and then create action for each user depending on their behavior within the product. There is a lot of data that can be captured and then used to interact with users.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the ability to do feature faking! This allows us to move more quickly on simple things to interact with customers without having to go through Product sprint cycles.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would like to be able to do more customization with the product without needing to know HTML or JAVA.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure that you have someone that will live in this product. It is very powerful and can do a ton. If you dedicate someone to it then you will get the most out of it. It will pay for itself and the FTE you have on it in no time. I would also make sure that you have buy-in and collaboration with your Product team. They should be aware of the way Pendo can help them be more successful as well.
