What differentiates Dynatrace from other similar products?

By analyzing user behavior and experience in real time, it offers a unique insight.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like its automatic and intelligent observation in cloud and hybrid environments with continuous discovery of hosts, VMs, cloud services, containers and Kubernetes, networks, devices, logs, events and other factors.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't like the advanced mode of Data Explorer's query editor because it is too verbose for your daily needs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend it because They use metadata-based auto-tagging to automatically assign tags to monitored entities with specific metadata values that Dynatrace automatically detects.

What differentiates Dynatrace from other similar products?

Dynatrace has a smart user interface that helps with navigation. It provides end-to-end observability straight out of the box, even for complex multi-cloud systems. Its AI Ops tool automatically maps dependencies across containers, hosts, and third-party services using AI, which eliminates the need for tedious configurations. With intuitive topology maps, troubleshooting is quick and straightforward. Using Dynatrace's detailed analysis of application performance data, I decreased site loading times by over 350 milliseconds and saved on infrastructure costs by resizing overextended tiers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Having reliable application performance is essential for any digital organization in today's world. As an analyst in charge of crucial business platforms, it is vital to have insights into how the production code and infrastructure operate to deliver top-notch results. Therefore, I value Dynatrace's ability to trace code changes and their effects on the user experience through real-time user monitoring (RUM). The integrated code-level analytics measure resource utilization, enabling quick optimization. I can replay user sessions easily when there are issues to replicate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

However, Dynatrace's advanced platform has many configuration options that can be difficult for novices compared to simpler monitoring tools. Additionally, hosting applications and ingesting logs require substantial infrastructure, which can pose scaling challenges at high volumes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For those looking for a strong observability platform that monitors code and infrastructure to boost performance, I highly suggest trying out Dynatrace. Its capacity to present actionable optimization insights is beneficial for technical teams seeking to immensely enhance their apps. Dynatrace is a valuable tool for ensuring that your apps run seamlessly.
