What differentiates ManyChat from other similar products?
Manychat is the leader when it comes to Facebook messenger automation. Manychat not only supports just Facebook Messenger but also now supports Email, SMS, Instagram and Whatsapp. This makes it a powerhouse for accessing multiple channels with automation. Few other tools can offer this number of channels and none with the ease of setup that Manycaht supports.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Manychat is easy to use. Full Stop. It has an intuitive and easy-to-understand user interface that is wonderful to work with when building automation and flows. The connection to social media platforms is clear and well documented. The community around Mancyaht is innovative and helpful to those learning the platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Manych'sat greatest weakness is getting content and data out of the platform. Manychat has no simple .csv data export for contacts. Instead, companies must develop automation to get the data out. Also, conversation flows cannot be imported or exported to the platform. This means that work like content translation has to be handled directly in the user interface and can't use external services. Also, the lack of global support for SMS is disappointing. There are 3rd party Extensions that can work but aren't as clean as the built-in tools.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your goal is to build conversation flows for Facebook Messenger then Manychat is the tool for you. The user interface is beautiful and intuitive. The company continues to innovate with new channel support and a full 3rd party market. It is hard to see any other competitor providing the same level of service as Manychat anytime soon.
