You cannot ignore it. even if you use another tool, you should still have google analytics running so you can compare the data.

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?

Google Analytics (GA) has a seamless integration with Google Ecosystem, supporting products like Google Ads, Search Console, Big Query, Look Studio etc. this reduces friction, ensure data flows directly and seamlessly without integration of custom apps. Google analytics offer a powerful free version that is accessible to organizations of all sizes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its ability to provide a holistic view of the customer journey through flexible reporting and segmentation tools. Also, The event based data model in GA 4 makes possible to capture user interactions with far more precision than others with traditional page view tracking.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike its very steep learning curve especially with GA4. While the platform is extremely useful, many features are not immediately intuitive and my client find it challenging to locate specific reports or configure some event without training. This can be very overwhelming

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Invest time in learning GA4 early, go through tutorials, documentations and training courses to get comfortable with setting up events In the free version, larger dataset may trigger sampling, if you need unsampled data at scale then try GA 360 Leverage Ecosystem Integration like Google Ads, Search Console, Big Query and Looker Studio to unlock its full value.

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?

just looking at traffic is not enough. google analytics is better because it lets you set up goals to track important actions, like a purchase or a form submission.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i can see exactly which marketing channels are bringing me the most valuable customers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

setting up goals in ga4 is much more complicated than it was in the old version. it is all based on events now.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

the first thing you should do after installing the code is to set up your conversion goals. without them, the data is not very useful.
