What differentiates Gong from other similar products?

Great call recording and transcript quality, easy to share calls and provide call coaching and feedback. Mobile app is a bonus for listening to calls on the go

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really like the pipeline notification feature, sending you previous calls for upcoming meetings to quickly review if required

Nothing comes to mind! A great solution

Gong does a good job of embedding itself into onboarding workflows which makes it a sticky product

Easy of use for reps

What do you dislike most about this product?

the current "action steps" gong pulls out isn't very "smart"

Ensure change management is thought through before rolling out a call recording software

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?

Gong sets itself apart with it's ability to analyze sales conversations and provide insights to help teams improve their performance. Their AI-driven provides detailed analysis and feedback that is often difficult to obtain through traditional products like Salesloft that is bare bones in comparison.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The coaching and analytics capability of Gong is second to none. It is far and away the best in it's category. When you need conversation intelligence and especially when you are talking about a stand alone product, Gong is and should be your go-to.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price point for a stand alone conversation intelligence product (and I realize that Gong is more than that), but can be a tough figure to swallow

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say in this day and age, depending on your tech stack, determine what you can do with and without. If you can take on the pricing of Gong and it makes sense within your existing stack, pull the trigger. That being said, and as much as I hate to say it, if you're building a stack from scratch or revamping one, there are ways to avoid the cost.
