User interface is really inadequate and fails on so many levels

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I think they should improve the UI and also provide a more user friendly drag and drop builder for Emails and Landing Pages

What differentiates Adobe Marketo Engage from other similar products?

The Marketo Engage product is widely known and accepted/integrated with in the MarTech area. There is a steep learning curve, and a lot that can only be learned through experience, but it's a robust product that can do a lot if you have the resources to get it configured right.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's the little aspects, like custom email pre-headers, easy integrations with other products/services, and custom tokens that can be used globally or specifically for programs, that make the options more robust and fun to use with testing. Also, decent documentation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pricing model and data storage is outdated. Forms and landing pages are unpleasant to construct, format and use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Weigh your options carefully. Marketo is a good product, but you should have a FULL understanding of your needs before making a decision. Also know if you want to have a marketing automation first process, or sales automation (CRM) first process.
