Be prepared to invest the time. It's powerful software so it requires a lot of time to customize but that is also the benefit.

What differentiates Accelo from other similar products?
I evaluated over 85 different services and apps and almost built my own from the ground up until I found Accelo. This is the only product I could find that brought everything from quotes to billing, CRM, project/task management, time recording, expenses, etc. into one cohesive app. The workflow is consistent from beginning to end of the project life-cycle and there's no re-entering information or klugey API bridges between services.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
All my business work is in one place! When I generate a quote, it's converted into a job with tasks and time budgets in one click, then billing happens in one click. The information flows well and is gathered together to make our work easy and not spend time on data entry.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's a bit locked in when it comes to reporting and some customization. Most of the reporting is single step filtering and presentation (ex: I can't make a list of companies with outstanding invoices), but I haven't found a need I haven't been able to accomplish with their existing features and the support from their implementation team worked hard to help customize the product to work for me.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely pay for the startup services! They bring so much experience helping companies customize the product to accomplish their needs the price is well worth it. I would have spent days reading all the guides and user groups, when it was a five minute question to my support guy.

Email Interface when compared to Gmail. It is difficult to get users to switch to only using Accelo Inbox for all business emails

Know your workflow first. Spend the time defining how work moves through your organization and the steps and actions that need to happen. Then implement that in Accelo. The Accelo implementation is the easy part.
