What differentiates Zoho Expense from other similar products?
I switched to Zoho from an Oracle product that we had problems with and honestly it was pretty much the same thing as every other expense management tool. The auto-capture function on receipts was something different, but it is super-slow so we hardly used it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It was very user friendly and customizable, also really cheap.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The support isn't great, they outsource everything to a foreign country so there was often a communication barrier. I was promised a lot of usability when I started such as credit card and ERP integration and they just couldn't do it in the end.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for an affordable, but outdated way to track expenses, go for it. But you are looking for some innovative expense capture, I personally would look for a credit card company that has it integrated within their card usage. We went with a company called Divvy and it has literally been a life-saver for our company's credit card management. It is so much easier for me to account for the expenses on Divvy than it was with Zoho.

What differentiates Zoho Expense from other similar products?
They have a great platform with many features that their competition do not have. However, I believe that is one of their biggest downfalls.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how easy it is to scan a receipt, classify it, and I have a go straight to QuickBooks.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Zoho Expense has so many features (too many, in my opinion, at this moment) features and two little help resolving issues with those features. Training is also a very very difficult thing to attain. I really believe Zoho has great roots, but they really need to work hard on their sales team > client relationships.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure that you get in writing that you will have training for your IT team as well as the product enforcement team, whatever department that may be. They give lots of promises, but once everything is in play, they seem to fizzle out.

What differentiates Zoho Expense from other similar products?
Its not just the zoho expense product, when you integrate all the zoho products under the zoho one system, they all tied together and instantly your zoho expense system, ties into your zoho books, your zoho crm, your zoho invoice... the list goes one. Need automated actions, zoho flow work with zoho expense to give you workflow processes that make not only zoho expense invaluable, but zoho one the tool of choice. Everything my organization does is zoho one based.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Having my receipts in one place and having them automatically import over to zoho books. Makes tax time so much smoother..
What do you dislike most about this product?
Can be kinda of laborious but its worth a few extra key strokes...
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't wait. There is a free trial plus make sure you research zoho one... Its worth every penny!
