What differentiates Squarespace from other similar products?
Squarespace has many simple templates that can be used and customized based on your industry. It also allows you to be more personable through things like including social medias and blog posts, thus enhancing your portfolio.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really love the construction of the site. It’s like everything you like need, is right there in nice sections. Unlike other sites, where you have to find what you want through multiple pages and back links that could be broke and you don’t know; everything need is there. The only thing you need to know is what you want to fix. Also it doesn’t take years of programming or a master’s degree to figure out how to edit and design your pages, the only thing you need is the idea. Squarespace takes care of everything else for you!
What do you dislike most about this product?
I know everyone needs to buy the next best plan, and that’s how companies stay in business. I hate that they don’t have a scheduling feature that comes with the paid, business pro plans. I feel there needs to be something, even if it’s just to have one calendar; there needs to be one calendar or a scheduler for that plan. Some people can’t afford the bigger plans, and they need to do business too. But the product itself is great!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It’s easy to use, no coding necessary. The website templates are simple and very customizable, there’s no lag in any section of the site and it comes fully loaded with everything you need!
Pros
- Reliable

What differentiates Squarespace from other similar products?
Squarespace's templates are fantastic and even the site reflects a modern organization, focused on iterating fast to catch up with the trends in web design.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The look and feel. Squarespace's templates do not feel like they are templates, they can be used right away. In terms of features, it's probably lagging behind Wix, but their design team is phenomenal and that might be important for certain organizations looking to have a killer web presence.
What do you dislike most about this product?
In spite of the nice-looking templates and other features, it's limited in the way the end product can be customized. This is not Squarespace's fault, as this applies to every platform that tries to do so many things at once (content management, content delivery, e-commerce, etc). I get that it's difficult for companies to evolve given the speed at which the web space changes, but nonetheless, they could do a better job offering more customization options.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Squarespace has always lagged behind Wix, which is probably the industry leader in this space. If you need a lot of features, then probably Wix is better, but in any case, if you need a website with many features, chances are, you need to do custom design work, so in that case, going with a headless CMS is probably better. Otherwise, Squarespace is a solid choice for anyone who wants to publish a small but pretty website in a matter of hours.

- Reliable
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
