What differentiates Rippling from other similar products?

When I update employee's home address, (and other contact information) within Rippling, both Payroll & Benefits will be updated in REAL-TIME. And unlike traditional payroll processing methods where you can't review your actual numbers until after submitting the data and having to wait until the next day for the batch to run, with Rippling's Real Time Payroll Math, I can review my exact numbers before submitting my payroll. You only have to remember one password to access EVERYTHING. as mentioned previously, Rippling also has some automated Compliance/Tax Reporting built into its system, eliminating some headaches.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I am pleased with how rippling brings all hr-related tasks together under one roof (payroll, time-off, etc.) and eliminates the need to use multiple separate applications. I appreciate that the application allows me to "clock-in" directly via my smartphone and view my pay stubs as well. The ability to get approval for time off quickly; and, being able to make changes to my direct deposit information through the system has greatly simplified this process.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Anytime there is a new version of the software released by the developers, they tend to rearrange many of the items in the menu system, but do not provide any notice to users. In addition, anytime i call customer service and ask them a question that does not appear in their general help section, it always seems to take hours to resolve. Lastly, the user is unable to customize the dashboard easily; however, the worst part of using rippling is that it becomes extremely slow when every person uses it to run payroll at the same time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Overall, rippling makes our lives easier by eliminating the need for employees and management to perform many of their hr related functions in various ways such as: via paper documents; using multiple random applications; and/or manually entering data into 3-5 separate databases.

What differentiates Rippling from other similar products?

For us, what really makes it stand out is the IT part is integrated within the same platform as our HR and payroll. There is no product we have used before where an HR tool has tied together device management in addition to payroll and benefits; therefore, when someone starts or stops working, the setup or deactivation of the user’s laptop and applications can be done automatically through the onboarding/offboarding process. This is something I do not see integrated in one package. It is a very unique offering and it has prevented my IT department from having to remove access manually whenever someone’s employment status changes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Rippling has done the most to save our time by creating an automatic hiring/offboarding process. Once a person is hired, they create all necessary paperwork (e.g. e-signatures), tax documents, etc. They have also made it possible to have all of the employee information in one place (payroll, HR, IT) rather than using multiple systems that did not interact.

What do you dislike most about this product?

For us, it's the price structure. Everywhere I've read says it costs $8/employee; however, this is based on Rippling doing only "HR" functions. If you add payroll, etc., the actual cost will show up after speaking with your sales representative. In addition, we were charged additional fees for implementing that were not clearly stated before hand.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before Rippling we had multiple systems for payroll, HR and IT access and none of which communicated with each other so when a person left the company, there would be multiple systems to manually turn-off. With Rippling, the majority of this process is now handled by one automated process called offboarding.

What differentiates Rippling from other similar products?

I have never used one of these products before using Rippling so I was rather concerned when I found out I was going to need to learn to use this, I was so very pleasantly surprised when I logged in for the first time and followed the instructions - it was so quick to learn, which was handy considering I had a new job to navigate (which obviously was way more important).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of use and speed is really what appeals to me the most. I honestly don't have to to waste before starting work everyday, so I am super grateful that Rippling is that easy to use and quick...I don't have to waste any time, it literally takes a minute.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I can't think of anything that I dislike about this product, it does everything I need. I can download my time sheets, the timecard is pretty and easy to see exactly what's happening. It is easy to log a query and they are resolved/answered speedily.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would definitely recommend this product to someone considering to purchase it, or who is in the market for a product like this. I honestly love Rippling.
