What differentiates Okta Customer Identity from other similar products?

Okta is the most useful and essential application for single-sign-on authentication and password management. Salesforce and all other applications are integrated with Okta to properly automate business processes without requiring users to log in to each application separately. Many enterprise customers use the outstanding OOB capability offered by Okta.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This program can support different applications, and setting up applications is relatively easy. We can balance security and usability with the adaptive MFA in a way that works for almost everyone. That is awesome. The labor-intensive onboarding process for new users has been significantly simplified using SCIM and APIs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Implementation is straightforward for seasoned IT workers. Still, for new users who need to learn more about identity management, the broad feature set, and documentation can be scary. When issues emerge between Okta and an unsupported program, even when the problem is with Okta rather than the unsupported item, Okta customer care may dodge responsibility.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It enables you to access apps without directly using a VPN. Because you can access the Apps on your computer rather than bringing your work PC home, this is helpful if you work remotely. You only need your login, password, and the second authentication to log into Okta and access your Apps.

Can be pricey especially for smaller firms

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend it and to compare with others to see the better features Okta offers. Also, budgets may decide on a IAM solution as well.

Ensure that you deploy MFA and SSO as pat of the implementation. start with most critical services and then expand the list. Try to avoid creating to many levels or groups within the interface as this just makes it harder for end users to find what they need.
