What differentiates MoEngage from other similar products?
1. MoEngage is the tool of choice for our team when it comes to scheduling different types of notifications for our users. 2. One of the best features of MoEngage, which is often overlooked, is the convenience it offers when used on mobile devices. It has proven to be especially useful in critical situations. The efficiency of the web version is also highly commendable. 3. I frequently rely on MoEngage's analyze feature, which allows me to examine user behavior, retention, session duration, source of users, uninstalls, and more.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
1. MoEngage is an excellent solution that enables us to improve user retention and re-engagement by delivering customized push and in-app notifications. It allows us to target dormant users with personalized notifications that are highly relevant to their interests. 2. MoEngage provides highly interactive and visually appealing charts and graphs that help us analyze user behavior and journey. This analysis helps us identify useful user patterns and activity across various features of the platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
1. The tool seems to provide inflated data for various metrics such as impressions delivered, daily uninstalls, and other important down-the-funnel events, making it an unreliable tool for data analysis. 2. MoEngage takes a considerable amount of time to load data when analyzing user paths, funnels, behavior, or any other analysis that involves custom events and attributes.

What differentiates MoEngage from other similar products?
The Sesgmentation of MoEngage is far better than other similar products in the Industry. Moreover features like Global Control Group, Reachability across all channels (Email, WhatsApp, Push and SMS), custom events with multiple attributes are missing in most competitor products and that is why MoEngage is far better than the other products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the Live Segmentation and Reachability features of MoEngage the most. Push Reachability and Email Reachability stats while creating a custom segment allows me to plan well in advance which modes of communication to use for targeting that particular custom segment. Also, the custom-event based triggering of flows, along with delay option and personalisation within individual campaigns, helps to create the perfect customer experience.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The bug of users not entering the event-triggered flows, when specific filters are put in, continues to be a major blocker for us with the MoEngage tool. Although their Solutions Engineering team has suggested alternative solutions, some edge-cases and specific use-cases are not solved with those solutions. In fact, only when they release the Live Segmentation feature for flows, the problem will be solved and hence it sometimes becomes disgusting when critical flows suffer from this problem of users not entering the flow.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would suggest to wait for the release of the Live Segmentation feature on flows before entering into a contract. Moreover, although the MoEngage team claims to have native integration with multiple communication partners or vendors, when it comes to actual integration, it often takes more than 2 weeks due to multiple technology blockers.
