What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

The most significant benefit is integration with Office and SharePoint, allowing easily editing and adding content besides the regular meeting / messaging features available on other products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ability to store files (internally using SharePoint) and easily edit / visualize them either on the app (Excel, Word) or directly on teams.
