What differentiates Malbek CLM from other similar products?

Contrax is designed to be CONFIGURABLE - no need for custom development or SOWs with a vendor to make it work with your business process. We have been able to configure the workflows and approvals all in house to meet the needs of several different groups. We have different flows for Sales, Procurement, etc. The integrations are key, especially the Salesforce package for us. We have multiple Salesforce instances and we were able to connect to those instances with the out of the box connectors, no custom code. If Sales wants a new field mapped onto the contracts, I can easily select it from a dropdown in our mapping settings on the template.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The search capability is key - it searches data fields as well as all of the documents stored in the system so we've been able to find some obscure things just by searching a phrase from a clause. Also, the flexibility of the configuration options. I am able to be a good business partner to the other departments that use the system because when they request changes it is quick for me to go in the system and make updates. We have been able to make some really sophisticated automations so that when Sales creates a contract from Salesforce, it looks like it has been customized just for them and their specific deal.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I would like to be able to run the AI extraction across the whole repository (right now can run on a specific batch of documents). This is a lofty ask though, as we have hundreds of thousands of documents in the system.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Embrace configuration! If you are used to vendors that will develop something custom solely for you, then it may feel strange, but we have had absolutely no outages or broken functionality due to releases. With previous products I've worked with, we would be stuck on an old version or releases would be delayed because they broke some specific functionality that was unique to only our company. I used to dread having to test things every time a new release came out. Now, releases happen monthly and I don't have to worry about it, usually I don't even think about it until somebody mentions a cool new feature that they just noticed!
