With Magnolia CMS even with the free version, you gain many enterprise features built-in(publishing, digital asset management). It offers a headless and traditional approach to the development of projects.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Magnolia offers a great authoring experience for content writers and thanks to that the road to happy and satisfied customers is already started. For developers, it is quite easy to get familiar with the magnolia development environment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If you are not an experienced developer it is very difficult to start and do things in the right way. Even though the community is growing in the past years there is still a lot of space for growth.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If preview functionality is critical and very important for the project definitely Magnolia CMS would be the right product for you. Before starting with development in Magnolia CMS define all the requirements(templates, content, dam, design etc..) very precisely
