What differentiates Magnolia Digital Experience Platform from other similar products?
I am not much aware about other products so can't comment here.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has a wide range of features available. Creation of pages and content management for websites like banners, static pages, static info is very easy to update and reflects instantly at all the nodes. We can easily set it up for multiple locales. Can create our new templates. Adding of new pages is easy. Supports publishing of content with approval system. Can also use it as a Database to store info via HTTP endpoints and easily fetch it on the web page at runtime.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is complex and very big. Development is slow. New changes in code take time to deploy because of Java build. Difficult to understand for newbies.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Consider using it if you have large scale application, large team size and want to support multiple features. It can be fully utilised if you want to create a website where the static content and images will be updated frequently on the go, want to support multiple locales, and require data to be stored.It offers good capabilities for server and client side rendering for a web application.

What differentiates Magnolia Digital Experience Platform from other similar products?
As I have not used other CMS platform so I can not determine magnolia platform experience with other products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
- I love the way CMS is created easy implementation and integration which I have done with the use of JSP and other Java and Javascript as well as CSS. - Components are very effective and manageable if you are experts in designing. - If User or client have little bit Designing of page experience then they can easily create and publish web pages.
What do you dislike most about this product?
- Sometimes It is very difficult to manage stuff with administrative panel. - Deletion or updation of page sometimes take too much efforts. - It is very hard for person who does not have a knowledge of webpage or designing of pages with components.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
- It will be very helpful if administrative panel UI is user friendly.

CMS magnolia - which I used for Java application.

What differentiates Magnolia Digital Experience Platform from other similar products?
-> I have also used PHP CMS which is far better than Magnolia but as per security concerned magnolia is best as it uses java and Java is best for its security and robustness. -> Other CMS platform have fancy and attractive admin panel which I seen lacking in Magnolia.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
-> Easy web page design if you have knowledge of JavaScript and CSS . -> Components are much easy to develops which web control inputs like textbox, radio button and images . -> Photo gallery and image attributes looks very attractive for me to manage with their properties.
What do you dislike most about this product?
-> It was very difficult to remove web control from components if that particular component need to remove some part and design updating will take sometimes a lot of time. -> If user don't have little bit knowledge of web page designing than hard to manage and publish pages of their website.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
-> Easy and attractive admin panel will be good to attract people. -> Easy component design and tutorials for non IT Professional users.
