What differentiates Keap from other similar products?

For me, its the Dynamic Content feature for now. Apart from this, they continue to improve the product... so you always have something to look forward to.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The way you can create effective Marketing Automation Campaigns, plus Dynamic Content makes creating Campaigns more fun :) Billing automation feature is my second favorite option in Keap as it helps you making billing process effective. For example, you can have emails sent before Credit Card Expiry date to customers asking them to update Credit Card info and much more.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Usually a development request on feature takes a lot of time, but Keap considering development of features based on User feedback is a plus point in my view. For example, I think there was one case where it wasn't forwarding utm parameters to thank you page when someone filled the Landing page. That time, I remember asking them if this feature can be added... took a while but they added the feature so that it would forward the utm parameters to the thank you page.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just go for it, and to make most out of it you can also consider: 1. Join the non-official & official Facebook Keap Groups (there are tons of experts in the group) 2. Go through the training to be clear on the things before actually implementing it (this might help you in a longer run). Things like Dynamic Content, tag & campaign naming help in longer run. 3. My favorite one - Use Campaign links in Campaign Emails

What differentiates Keap from other similar products?

Keap Classic is an (almost) all-encompassing product that handles many aspects including email marketing, sales automation, e-commerce,and more...but doesn't do all of them well. It also has a long implementation and learning curve. It is not as intuitive as Hubspot for example but it can do more for less money.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is pretty fast at building out automated email campaigns and haveing integrated forms and landing pages make joining the parts easy. unfortunately the styling and integration of the forms and landing pages is not the prettiest or elegant.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The email editor is mediocre and you can't import HTML templates reliably as of this writing. It's on the roadmap for upgrade. Hope it gets better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My comments and review apply to Keap "classic" aka Infusionsoft. Many of the shortcomings have probably been addressed in one of the Keap product but not all of the functions of "classic" can be found in Keap- so I continue to use the legacy platform until enough of the features have been moved over. For most people, Keap will do what you need for crm and sales pipeline and should be faster to learn and deploy than Classic.

What differentiates Keap from other similar products?

The modern, one-stop shopping promise was attractive; a way to save money by combining contact/e-commerce/email/other processes. But it is also too complex and more time-consuming to learn than other systems. It has more customer service (especially live bodies) than most current IT products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Some of the employees (e.g., Mel Williams), such as those on the Success Team were attentive and responsive

What do you dislike most about this product?

Was not intuitive at all. It might be fun or interesting to a computer tech. But it was taking me too long as a manager to lear/understand the procedures. I have been overseen tech personnel for 30 years, have used probably most of the CRM systems that have been on the market at some time and have never had as much problem or spent as much time trying to figure out how a system works. Technical "support" seemed to just consist of referring the person asking the question to some standard guidebook. So it was not a profitable proposition for me. I was paying for a company to tell me to spend even more of my valuable time reading manuals.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have the money and the technical staff that has time to spend learning all the ins and outs of this system, then it might be worth it to use this robust system from this reputable company rather than having to use several of the popular systems (e.g., Constant Contact, Shopify, etc) for individual needs. If you have a small staff or you are self-employed, have limited resources and time, and are looking for an easy-to-use system, this may not be the solution for you.
