What differentiates Looker from other similar products?

Looker has more features than the competition and integrates with SQL datasets way more intuitively. It's integration with BigQuery in particular allows it to leverage the constantly improving features of BigQuery SQL. Looker also has more interactive features than the competition, and can interact with cloud functions, which enables it to be used as an actionable tool, as opposed to just an analytics tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The loads of features, as well as it's seamless integration with most SQL languages. Looker does a great job with creating data models.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Looker is a bit limited with the visualizations that it provides.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Looker has a way easier development experience than PowerBI, and way more features than Tableau. It also scales incredibly well, and at a lower cost than it's competitors. I recommend this product to any mid size to enterprise size teams.

You can't go wrong with Looker, but be prepared to train employees as it can be an adjustment if someone is not at all used to BI tools
