What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

Cisco Jabber is one of it's kind: it enabled us at the company to connect all the departments from production to sales. Our teams members could use their preferred device for instant messaging, sending files and even video conferencing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the fact that conversations are in a continuous thread and that at any time, you can browse and review the history. This is particularly useful, for tickets resolution. Escalation to a voice call for customer support via pre-integrated collaboration tools is just perfect.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The on-site deployment for Cisco Jabber is a little expensive but I believe that this is not an issue, since we can also opt for either a cloud-based deployment or a hybrid one.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Cisco Jabber rocks. The number of documentation and training materials is really considerable. Last but not least, the customizable aspect is the cherry on the cake: enabling the Dark Mode for a better experience. I absolutely recommend.

What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

One of the many stable products launched by Cisco, Cisco Jabber is the one. It is fully compatible with other Cisco products. It is an excellent platform for making audio/video calls and staying in touch either with colleagues, employees, or clients. The chats in Cisco Jabber are end-to-end encrypted which makes them super secure. It has a very simple and easy-to-use interface and hence newbies can easily adapt to it. One of the best options is the call-forwarding option from Jabber to one’s personal number.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works very well for calling and instant messaging. Group chats can also be created. The interface is very user-friendly and it does not take much space. It has the in-built ability to be integrated for pulling information from the Active directory.

What do you dislike most about this product?

More diversified themes should be provided. Instead of writing XML scripts, it would have been better if it were based on templates. It also lacks integration with other apps such as Webex and this is a major drawback. It has a higher cost as well.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One should ensure that he is having strong internet connectivity. The platform is good for internal communication purposes. Zoom or Microsoft Teams can be used for external communication purposes.

What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

It is completely viable with all cisco frameworks, and you can utilize it inside Cisco Call Manager and other Cisco items. Our workers get calls through Jabber, and they use it for particularly video calls. Jabber Video utility is used by our employees and clients. It is viable with Microsoft Outlook, and its quality is reliable for sharing with other people. Likewise, you can make your client's directory. One drawback is integration lagging which causes all connection processes to slow down.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Enable representatives to cooperate productively from any place by uniting together, texting (IM), sound, video and web calling and meetings, and visual voice mail from any of your work devices. Cisco conveys purpose-based systems administration across the branch, WAN, and cloud. Cisco provides end-to-end security, with mechanization, and examination with grant-winning administrations and backing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Elements like dynamic index might be complicated. Assuming there is one more IM in your organization, lagging might develop across channels. The theme is very rigid with not many customization options available. Video gathering among jabber and other seller item needs costly center gadgets and complex integrations. To have full joining with AD, it needs to compose an excessive number of XML codes, with no template option available for integration.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The search option that is not available is massaging due to which some important chats are misplaced. The file-sharing option is also very poor with a lot of formats are not supported by the system. Jabber frequently resets and stalls out, which makes it a piece slacking during the utilization and need to delay until it gets reset to utilize the application, which for the most part takes critical time
