What differentiates Adobe Experience Manager from other similar products?
It's part of a much large family of Adobe products, and the roadmap is always adding new integrations and features. There is always a better future just over the horizon.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Once we set up AEM pages to leverage reusable modules, authoring pages became much, much easier. We actually have an enforceable global style guide now.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It requires very specialized resources to make customize modules, it's not just HTML and CSS. It's pulling resources from smaller pools of talent. They can be hard to find and are more costly to hire.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Hire in your internal team with generalized skills and then take full advantage of all the training resources. It takes time, so be patience, and grow and develop your team step by step. There aren't many shortcuts around this.
