What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

You are able to log in to a meeting via a web browser without the need to download any software to your device. The capabilities may be limited for but some people downloading software is cumbersome so the option to bypass it and still join a meeting is extremely convenient. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. I work with a lot of clients who are not tech-savvy in the least, yet no one has ever had an issue with figuring out how to use Zoom.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that it is accessible even without a paid subscription. Most of my meetings are one-on-one and therefore a paid subscription is not needed as the meetings are not limited to time constraints. If a third person were to join the meeting, the meeting would then be limited to 45 minutes. Which is still ample time to get through a quick meeting. The few times I have had to subscribe I was able to both sign-up and cancel the service without speaking to anyone and being locked into any type of commitment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since the start of COVID-19 many users have turned to Zoom. Because of that, the company implemented a ton of new features such as waiting rooms, authenticated user usage, and access codes. When using Zoom on a much smaller scale, such as two users, it can be a bit bothersome to have to wait in the waiting room until someone allows you access or to have to enter an access code for security purposes. While there are ways to bypass these methods, they should not be the default setting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take your time in learning the backend features so that when you are in a meeting you know where everything is and you don't have to interrupt the meeting. One feature that someone should familiarize themselves with, especially when in a large group setting, is the mute and video icons. I have been in numerous meetings where someone was talking and didn't realize they were muted or vice versa.

Some of the key feature zoom is having which makes it better than others are 1>Very secured with different ID and password for each meeting 2>Large audience can be added for virtual webinars. 3>It's a very light weight app and Easy to use. 4>Allows for various backgrounds to hide the mess of your apartment

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Some of the Key features are very useful like 1>Recording video or audio calls. You can pause or stop recording anytime, and when you hit the record button again, it either records a new clip or picks up where you left off . 2>The whiteboard facility with annotation support and quality of video and sound is excellent. 3>Breakout rooms for smaller groups within a meeting is a great feature . 4>You can integrate it with outlook and other mail application which is very helpful . 5>Zoom is highly password protected with high security on data

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's mobile applications is not having many features which they can include . There is scope of improvement in chat window also during the meeting. Should improve security by authentication of link usage by designated recipient. There is no feature of sending files instantly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zoom is a platform that is very useful when there are employees who work remotely. I consider that it is always appropriate to have a platform like this, because it is compatible with all devices, so you can connect from anywhere. It's very light weight and user friendly as well .
