What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

Just when I thought Zoom has done it all, they release a new feature that is awesome! Zoom embraces continuous improvement like no other company. I remember when Zoom first came to my attention when their was a major security vulnerability that a malicious coder could insert click bait on a website and force a user into a video call without them knowing. I joined the call of the security researcher to see what it was all about and the CEO of Zoom actually joined the call while he was on vacation just because he knew the importance of fixing the bug ASAP and he ended up hiring a few of the security engineers that were on the call.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The virtual video backgrounds are by far the best! Especially when you don't even need a green screen. I have been working from my garage at home for over a year and having the ability to customize my background to any video has been really great! Screen sharing your iOS or Android phone has been really great as well.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing I can say I dislike about Zoom is how often they update their client version (every 2-3 weeks!). That really isn't a bad thing in reality but I am the person who packages and deploys Zoom and other apps to my company so I have to stay on top of that a lot more when major feature updates drop.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend you try Zoom and Zoom Phone. Both have been game changers for our company. We have been 95% work from home for the whole company from March 2020 until the foreseeable future and have honestly been more productive became of Zoom than if we were in the office.

What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

They have a solid foundation for video conferencing and have continued to expand their offerings over the last few years. Their reputation hasn't been stellar, but they are trying to come back from bad reviews.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works...simple as that. I've had very few issues with Zoom calls compared to other video conference tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is a little heavy on bandwidth when screen sharing. Everything becomes slower when demoing.

See what video conferencing tools other vendors or your clients use to help eliminate conferencing difficulties.

What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

First of all, Zoom has excellent options with polls and break rooms. It is beneficial when you have a meeting with 50 people or more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most valuable point for me is flexibility. I can use the free option when I have only a one-on-one meeting. Or I can pay if I would like to have 3 and more participants during my calls.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The most disliked feature is an absence of smiles and emojis to comments. I can't add emoji to any comments during sessions in the chat.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is an incredible product, especially in the educational area or webinars.
