What differentiates Zoho CRM from other similar products?
The customization framework (modular) provides a very useful base for mapping complex sourcing pathways. Using custom object design to create the exact resimilarity of our internal compliance requirements, the purchasing department automatically becomes clear on the level of risk of a certain vendor, and orders for strictly specialized hardware are sent only to certified manufacturers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The workflow engine is very successful in performing administrative routine tasks without human interference. Activation of automated request for quote alerts whenever there is a low inventory level enables the management to mitigate the human delay and keep production schedules straight.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The underlying relational structure is sufficient when it comes to simple contact tracking but results in serious drag when one tries to connect massive arrays of mutually dependent shipping logistics or deep material dependencies using the same interface. It is an effective communication node, yet it does not have the rich configuration of a dedicated enterprise resource planning solution.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
By consolidating our active supplier requests in this application, our global sourcing has been made much easier. With a known, integrated perspective, duplication of negotiation efforts has been removed, basically accelerating our procurement processes in all our main manufacturing centers.

What differentiates Zoho CRM from other similar products?
In terms of its impact on the sales and marketing teams, the benefits are quite noticeable, as it helps keep lead tracking much more organized. Previously, a lot of information would get stuck in spreadsheets or internal notes; with the CRM, however, you can easily see exactly which stage each opportunity is in and what interactions have taken place with the client. This also helps improve follow-up efforts and ensures that the team doesn't let any opportunities fall through the cracks in the pipeline. From the marketing side, it’s equally beneficial because you can link specific campaigns to actual sales results.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One thing I really like about Zoho CRM is that it gives you a significant amount of control over the entire sales pipeline without having to rely too heavily on the technical team. You can customize many fields, stages, and automations to tailor the system to your company's specific sales process. I also appreciate that you can view leads, opportunities, team activity, and marketing campaigns all in one place; for someone who needs to oversee the entire commercial landscape, this is extremely helpful. Another positive aspect is that it integrates seamlessly with various tools within the Zoho ecosystem.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Now, to be honest, there are times when the system can feel a bit clunky or not quite as intuitive as one might hope, especially when you are configuring more advanced settings. Some parts of the interface aren't entirely clear at first, and the onboarding process for new users can take a little extra time. I also feel that certain reports, while available, require a fair amount of configuration to truly provide the specific insights you need as a sales director. It’s not impossible to achieve, but there is definitely a learning curve involved.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would primarily recommend this to medium and large-sized businesses that need a highly flexible CRM solution without having to pay more premium prices often associated with other, more well-known platforms that have less features than this tool. It’s an excellent choice if your team is looking to better structure its sales process and gain greater visibility into the pipeline. That said, I do believe it’s crucial to dedicate sufficient time upfront to configure it properly; if it isn't structured correctly right from the start, things can quickly become a bit disorganized down the road.
