It has an excellent API, is simple to implement, is well integrated, includes several complementary open source projects that combine to form a complete technology stack, and its overall cost of acquisition and maintenance, as well as its flexibility, functionality, and product performance, are all favorable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The monitoring and data import capabilities, primarily via the REST API and other means, are fantastic, as is the flexibility of the design: it is extremely easy to create even large environments using the template system. I also appreciate how well the integration with visualization components like Grafana works and is reliable, fast, and efficient; it appears as though they were made for each other. Additionally, Zabbix improves decision-making, compliance, and risk management in our organization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is not much that I dislike, as this product has very good performance and output, in particular, I do think it would be beneficial to have step-by-step installation and configuration instructions; more information on what some of the figures indicate; etc.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zabbix is ideal for monitoring protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, and SNMP; its availability and flexibility for local monitoring are unpredictable; it has excellent features for visual analysis, customizable dashboards, and system templates; its excellent features include: automatic discovery and logging, which are extremely useful for monitoring a new AWS host; it also enables you to manage the infrastructure on the fly. On the other side, Zabbix requires minimal setup time and is a truly wonderful tool.

What differentiates Zabbix from other similar products?

Its affordability, open source, flexibility and adaptability, simplicity and ease of configuration, stability, powerful and efficient repair module, and ease of integration through APIs and other tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the way its agents work, they are intuitive, they are recompiled in some repositories of the operating system. Which saves time, Zabbix also provides excellent security for our system because it allows us to have a holistic view of our entire IT environment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The manual is difficult to understand, as it requires a working knowledge of operating systems and databases, and I believe that the graphical user interface should be modified because it is outdated.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zabbix is a great monitoring solution; it is simple to use and deploy, and it is appropriate for any sort of organization, regardless of size or scope of activities, thanks to its adaptability and scalability. Companies may use Zabbix to monitor their virtual machines, services, and network devices, such as servers and databases, in real-time. Zabbix also has a strong repair module that is both precise and efficient, letting you swiftly correct issues on the go, allowing you to minimize downtime while maintaining a steady flow of production.

At first glance the most striking difference is that Zabbix is an open source software and as such allows users to adapt the source code to particular needs, this makes it highly customizable; having an extensive user community allows the collaboration of templates and specific configurations that are very useful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The notification module fully meets the expectations, at the moment of detecting an alteration in any of the metrics, the preconfigured action is immediately executed, either corrective or informative, this is very useful for the IT administration group.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It would be interesting to have a version adaptable to mobile devices with the interface scaled for these devices, in order to take the monitoring to any place.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a member of a team in charge of IT infrastructure I can say that Zabbix deserves a high recognition due to all it offers, with a configuration adjusted to the needs it allows to guarantee the stability of the network or any monitored service; besides the metrics are perfectly analyzable and scalable.
