What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?
History of being timekeeping industry leaders (Kronos) - new platform still requires additional features and configuration options
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's an improvement over our previous platforms. Payroll process is very easy.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Fixes and enhancements sometimes take forever to be released. Certain features and abilities discussed during our sales and implementation stages were promised and were not and still are not available (over 2.5 years later) - this would include a single employee database for Timekeeping & HCM, ability to automatically increase union step levels and automatic retirement plan tiers based on longevity to name a few. The UKG single sign on functionality caused a humongous amount of pain for our end users (and as a result us) until a recent change was made. Global Support is sometimes a pain point as well when you have an urgent matter.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We're happy overall yet disappointed in comparison to what we thought we'd be getting. Also, I would recommend having a dedicated person/team for researching and implementing new features. Our organization does not have this and my role as the Payroll Manager has expanded to de facto Dimensions System Admin (which I'm not entirely opposed to in one sense, but on the other hand wearing both hats is a challenge and as a result we may not be maximizing the capabilities of certain modules.
