What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

In terms of cross-team collaboration, the system's efficiency and smooth operation make it a solid choice over others. It helps me communicate rapidly with outside parties like consultants and suppliers without giving them full access to our internal networks. The Gant chart feature with predecessors is better than any other tool I've tried.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In my opinion, the most valuable features are those related to task management and group work. Having many sheets, I can connect to make a larger whole is a fantastic feature. I appreciate that I can do practically anything I could in Microsoft Excel, like attach files to individual rows and annotate them with comments and links. Learning the UI was quite simple.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The inability to make many sheets inside a single sheet is something I find lacking. If I wish to upload several files at once, Smartsheet only allows me to do so in a single compressed Zip folder, making it impossible to arrange them in any way. This area gets challenging to enter.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Smartsheet simplifies and streamlines the process of managing and organizing data. Although Smartsheet's many views and choices might be overwhelming, they're worthwhile. If you have experience with spreadsheet programs, by all means, give it a go; otherwise, you may find it difficult to follow. If you're starting started with SmartSheet, I highly recommend it.

Smartsheet is fantastic software for managing projects since it gives me everything I could need to plan, execute, and control my endeavors. Unlike others, Smartsheet is an effective tool for group work on spreadsheets. With real-time collaboration and commenting, my team members can work off the same document simultaneously, which is a huge time saver.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet's ease of use appeals to me. It's also great since you can use it to organize events in a timeline. As a database, it stores details on my suppliers and subcontractors. The ability to collaborate with others is a big plus for this piece of software. I used this program for one of our major projects, which greatly simplified monitoring duties.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Besides the inability to see data in real-time while not connected to the internet, Smartsheets has a few downsides. It's complicated and challenging to learn for new users, and it only keeps track of the most fundamental activities, which isn't enough for huge businesses. It's more costly than competing spreadsheet programs and doesn't come cheap.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Through scenario analysis and the development of timeframes, I can demonstrate results to upper management. It helps with productivity, accuracy, and efficiency, contributing to improved business profits. If you have any issues, it's best to consult a seasoned Smartsheet user. You should know your use cases and long-term development objectives before starting.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Managing my day-to-day sales activities is a breeze thanks to Smartsheet. I created a dashboard to track all of my open and closed sales, items suggested, billing key performance indicators, and more. In addition, it is being used as an input form tool by external marketing partners to compile data from customers attending events and webinars. It makes it possible to see several insights into our daily marketing and sales operations.

Smartsheet has all the standard features of a project management application, such as task management, milestone tracking, and several ways to examine your ongoing projects. It's tough to stress the importance of being comfortable in your surroundings. Having workers utilize a product with which they are already familiar reduces the amount of time spent on training and orientation, allowing businesses to get up and running more quickly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It would be nice to have greater control over the aesthetic style of charts, cards, and dashboard widgets. Smartsheet's Dashboards don't seem as interesting as Power BI's. We want a broader palette, more charts, the option to choose a moving image as the backdrop, etc. The ability to organize uploaded files into subfolders rather than as row/file attachments would be a welcome addition.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Fits the needs of businesses that want to streamline their operations by automating repetitive tasks, creating streamlined workflows, collecting data through streamlined forms, and visualizing that data in interactive dashboards. Having a board but maybe not the best practices in terms of sprints, problem kinds, versioning integration, deployment analytics, etc. makes this tool less suitable for businesses seeking an Agile-based project management solution.
