What differentiates Planview Portfolios from other similar products?
Planview PPM Pro enables PMO organizations to concentrate their efforts on tasks that add the most value to their company. With the use of PPM Pro, project managers, program managers, PMO leaders, resource managers, and CIOs may receive top-down visibility into their project portfolio and synchronize their work with corporate objectives.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Planview PPM Pro is mostly used by us for project management. I work on a team that develops software, and we are required to meticulously arrange the project's timeframes and resources. All of the aforementioned areas have found Planview PPM Pro to be extremely beneficial. The program is fantastic for high-level general project management.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The product feature list is extensive, and occasionally you may need to visit a consultant to setup something, which may cost money if your service hours have run out. It's a bit too simple. Despite the fact that the display isn't cluttered, everything there looks too identical.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The ideal applications for Planview PPM Pro include portfolio, program, and project management. An organization can strategically align their work with Planview PPM Pro, which gives them the option to evaluate project requests and manage capacity & requirement. The reporting and dashboard tools enable a drill-down perspective into the work being done at any level.

What differentiates Planview Portfolios from other similar products?
It integrates resources and tasks, therefore empowering me to assign tasks to members based on their skills and availability. This helps us to improve in productivity and manage resources
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the dashboard and reporting features that allows me to have a critical insight of project and portfolio status, so that my team can stay on track by working on issues that are slowing us down and prioritize tasks.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I feel that the user interface should be improved to make it more user friendly, because it has many tools that are overwhelming.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is a fantastic product. It has helped my team in project planning and scheduling. Also, with the in-flight expense tracking feature we have been able to stay on budget while delivering on time.
