The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. What differentiates Paylocity from other similar products?
Paylocity recently worked with me on a custom report that simplifies our payroll process. Attendance infractions are tracked incredibly well! I know right down to the minute how much time each employee has missed from their scheduled work week. It's amazing, and no other payroll company I've spoken with can track at this level.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Attendance tracking Benefits administration and integration with our benefits providers
What do you dislike most about this product?
HR & Payroll and Time & Labor don't communicate well which can create challenges when trying to create a report that needs to pull information from each module.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure you're comparing apples to apples when making you decision. I have found that Paylocity will never come in as the lowest cost option, but you typically get what you pay for, and Paylocity is worth the additional money as the functionality provided surpasses what other companies offer.

All the features we need and good customer support

What differentiates Paylocity from other similar products?
No manual entries, meaning, I can run weekly payroll remotely. Posting openings, recruiting and onboarding new employees is seamless. Great support team that is available and responsive; I can reach out to MY TEAM rather than a rep that happens to pick up my call. Knowledge base easy to follow and great training tool. Reporting capabilities.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I can process and submit payroll weekly from ANYWHERE. There is no longer any dependency of manual tracking on paper (i.e. PTO requests, physical timecards, etc.).
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not sure there are aspects of the software we dislike. Occasionally, the turnaround time of responses between Paylocity internal departments (i.e. customer support and tax team) seem to take longer than expected.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make a list of all your must-haves in a system as well as a wish list. In our research timeline, Paylocity checked almost all the boxes. Two and a half years later, we are very satisfied with the decision that was made.
