What differentiates Oracle Identity and Access Management from other similar products?
It's a powerful tool for managing users and their life cycles. Role management for users may be done in a simple and orderly manner. This tool's implementation is much simpler than similar utilities. Configuration is very extensively documented and takes very little effort.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
OIM offers a variety of out-of-the-box connections. As a result, 3rd-party integration is speedier. It's also highly adaptable when it comes to modifications. Custom connections, for example, can be easily built and delivered, skin changes can be made quickly, end user menus can be easily altered, and custom processes may be established and implemented.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Installation is very complex, with a difficult approach to simply update patches, poor support patching, and a large number of setup options.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is for you if you have a big number of users and are seeking for an enterprise solution. Keep your certification and attestation needs in mind. It still doesn't have a lot of versatility.
Pros
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service
- Continually Improving Product
