Readily available to use with anyone else.

It is extremely buggy and glitchy, and the way it organizes meetings is a mess and super confusing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While the cost is good thanks to Office 365, if you have several remote workers, consider also purchasing something like Zoom.

Calls: VoIP calls can be placed and received using Microsoft Teams, but some users would prefer to be able to decrypt calls straight from their phone numbers.
