What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Microsoft Team is a part of my daily work and activities. Microsoft Team is being used as a team collaboration tool for video meetings, training, and communication between departments, vendors, business partners. It provides all the features like file sharing, survey, audio call/ video call options. This is a perfect replacement for Skype business tool.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Team needs high bandwidth for audio and video conferencing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft Team is being used for virtual meetings, screen sharing & training purposes. The file-sharing option and edit option are really very good. The mobile app version of Microsoft Team is very light and easy to use. They work properly and smoothly with all its features. Save your documents and files safely. Calender option is available for meeting schedules for the team members.

Microsoft Teams has been widely adapted by organizations in the recent times. Once primary reason is the fact that with the Pandemic impacting the global operations, people have switched to newer ways of working, that is working from home. In these times, platforms like team really helps to continue develop connection between the team members, build trust and empathy due to easier option of connectivity. From technical standpoint, the application has all the features that are essential to send message, track tasks, connect using audio and video conferencing, share files etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Quoted Reply feature is really good especially when there are multiple discussions happening in the group chat. One can directly reply beneath the message indicating that the reply is especially on a specific topic being discussed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The fact the Quoted Reply feature is only available on Mobile and not on the desktop version is an area of improvement for Teams.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

On and all, this platform has everything that one would need to establish collaboration between the team members and continue delivering value to the business due to this effective medium of communication. The audio and video conferencing capability lets users communicate and share knowledge, discuss concerns and issues, conduct webinars, and planning session etc. Features like broadcasting messages, file sharing, instant messaging, liking comments, etc are really unique and make this an easy pick over other products in the market.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

At the time of our meetings, the Microsoft Teams Room application has the possibility of using these rooms in a comfortable, intuitive and easy-to-use way that allows you to control all the activities of the group or work team, it is also very collaborative to screen sharing time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like it every time I schedule a meeting in Microfosoft Teams, the link is automatically added and it can be sent by email and at the same time agenda in the calendar of the people involved. Once they join the meeting, you let others know that you have entered or waiting. The chat function in the room is very intuitive. Also, if you are in an existing meeting and you want to add someone else, you can easily search the room and call them, the alerts it throws up are very quiet.

What do you dislike most about this product?

For what is the use of Microsoft Teams it does not allow to create work groups with more than 300 users, additionally, as it is more for business use, it is not as widespread as other programs such as zoom or Skype itself. When the screen is shared, sometimes other users cannot see it and it is time to restart screen sharing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend it without hesitation since it is a great tool for both personal and commercial use, it helps a lot to successful communication since its chat, call and video call options are quite fluid.
