What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

What i like about the tool over its alternatives is that it offers wide variety of features that are geared towards enhancing effective communication. The tool is ore of a unified communication tool, you are able to conduct online meeting, conference, trainings and presentation with the tool. During a meeting you are able to experience one to one through video conferencing. You are also able to mute the participants to ensure that there is no interruptions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite feature is the side chat during a meeting. There you ask a question and the presenter is able to address it in real time. You are also give features that allows you to clap and raise hand. Gives you the mood of the meeting,

What do you dislike most about this product?

Cost of acquiring the license is a let down to start ups.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To ease business operation cost and scale up your organization communication use the tool.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

It is similar to Skype, but I find ease of use to be a little better. I also find that many of our customers use teams over skype, which makes it essential to have.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the ability to share files quickly without taking up space in our emails server.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does hijack my webcam, and I don't realize it is running in the background. When I go to use my webcam for a meeting, I have fumbled before trying to figure out why.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For anyone working from home, and with a variety of customers across the globe teams is a must have. I am able to easily communicate with my coworkers on other continents, and share files.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

There are some really ncie features like the captioning and virtual backgrounds

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's fairly easy to use and good for sharing files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish there were a way to adjust the camera ratio so that it wasn't capturing my entire background. The cameara angle is much wider than on Zoom so it captures things I don't want like the living room beyond my office screen,. I also wish the file sharing process were a little more intuitive. It's confuisng sometimes to look for a file, and the downloading process is cumbersome..

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If youhave a large team, it's a great option. It's relatively straightforward to share files and have meetings but the calendar integration options are not especially great.
