PowerPoint Live makes talks better.

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

There are great presenter tools on teams' PowerPoint Live that make it better than GoToMeeting for slide shows. It's my online stage where I show demos to clients.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

PowerPoint Live lets me see my notes secretly while sharing slides, which helps me stay on track. I can change my pace based on how the crowd reacts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are no live notes on the slides, so you'll need a whiteboard to make notes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Teams' PowerPoint Live is a great tool for pitched ideas.

Pros

  • Efficient Service
  • Inspires Innovation
  • Saves Time
  • Client Friendly Policies

Thread Lightly: Living Inside Microsoft Teams.

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

You’d think by now every chat and collaboration platform would feel the same — but Teams actually became more than just a Slack alternative in our department. What made it click for us wasn’t just the chat interface or the ability to do video calls (we all have Zoom-fatigue anyway); it was how deeply it tied into our daily IT workflows without forcing us to switch contexts constantly. One minute I'm pushing updates to our Azure DevOps board, and the next I'm approving a Power Automate flow — all without leaving the app.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The thing that’s kept me hooked is how it handles integrations like a pro without being noisy about it. I’ve built out tabs in channels that display Grafana dashboards for our SRE folks, while the security team has webhooked alerts from our SIEM right into a dedicated “Red Zone” channel. It turns into this modular command center depending on who’s using it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The search experience can be a bit like looking for a cable in a server rack you didn’t label.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re in an IT shop that already lives in the Microsoft ecosystem — Exchange, SharePoint, Azure — Teams feels like a natural nerve center. I’d tell any peer in enterprise IT: if you’re not using Teams as more than just a meeting app, you’re leaving efficiency on the table. It’s not flashy, but it’s rock-solid where it counts.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
  • Unique Features
