What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Biggest advantage is that it comes bundled with Microsoft 365 license which saves on additional costs. Another advantage is its easy integration with Microsoft apps like Power BI for custom workflows.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works like sharepoint where multiple people/teams can work on excel sheets, word documents, ppts etc. People can work on them simultaneously inside a window.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Teams is very resource heavy. Plus the tabs are not well organized with older chats disappearing. The search functionality got a recent update after which we have to click on the search result to go to the required conversation. There is also the occurence of two versions (work, old school) which gets very confusing sometimes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would receommend Teams for Big enterprises where security and compliance are very important, They come with Teams out of the box. Every Collaboration tool has its own advantages. But Teams stands out because of its integration with Microsoft ecosystem.

Cost of renewals, Need more network bandwidth to use for larger meetings

According to my experience, Microsoft Teams stands out in having a simple interface with powerful features. Every user always looks for ease of use first and Teams has the best easy to understand and use interface. Adittionally, its acts as a all in one platform for all kinds of communication with your colleagues and team by providing audio, video, text connect, file sharing, screen sharing and screen control, channels, groups, etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Having everything related to work communications in one place. I can chat with colleagues, join meetings, make calls, and share or access files without switching between different applications. It saves time, keeps conversations organized, and makes collaboration much more efficient, especially when working with different teams. - Integrations for daily work automation such as chat summaries, automatic messaging, etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Haven't come across anythis as such. The journey has been smooth.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would definitely recommend Microsoft Teams, especially for organizations that rely on collaboration and communication. One suggestion I'd have for new users is to spend some time exploring its integrations and automation capabilities, as they can significantly improve productivity. My only observation as a person who loves exploring integration and working on autoamtions is that it wasn't immediately obvious what integrations and apps Teams supports. Better visibility or a more guided way to discover these features would make it much easier for users who want to automate workflows and get the most out of the platform.
