What differentiates Microsoft Azure Backup from other similar products?
We back up and recover our data in the Microsoft cloud utilizing the Azure-based service called Azure Backup. Data for on-premises servers, virtual machines, virtualized workflows, SQL server, SharePoint server, and more can all be backed up with Azure Backup.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In general, Azure Backup has been incredibly dependable and easy to set up. The Azure site has about the same amount of information that you would need to confirm backups are going properly, and the representative on the hosts and local PCs is simple to use. I adore the gateway, the GUI, and how simple it is to use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
A restore places them in a unified Azure storage account using naming conventions that are fundamentally different from those used by the organization. A restoration that is like for like is not achievable. Additionally, there is no way for excluding disks for documents, so you have to backup everything.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
At the corporate level, every department uses it on all servers. In terms of the needs that arise all around user, there is a lot of flexibility available, such as regular backup for at least six months or a combo of daily, weekly, and monthly with a strong preservation policy that allows data recovery to a high extent possible.
