What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

I love Mailchimp because of the customization - I haven't used any other email marketing software but will not use anything else because Mailchimp provides everything I need. I also love how easy it is to import and export contacts.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The analytics. I love checking to see how well an email campaign did and how to improve upon it to make the conversion rates better.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish there were more tutorials to show you how to maximize a campaign. I feel like I may be missing some great features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are thinking about getting an email marketing service, I would go with Mail Chimp. It's easy to use, has great analytics and the customization is the best.

Mailchimp specializes in direct email marketing and has tons of ready made templates to start with.

My favorite aspect of Mailchimp is that you can manage your audience easily and create targeted campaign to your target clients.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Mailchimp is the best solution in my point of view for email marketing but sometimes the email goes to spam instead of reaching the email for unknown reasons.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend giving mailchimp a try using the free version and upgrade if found useful to your needs

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

Great product with plenty of features for those getting set for producing, sending and reporting back on email campaigns, newsletters and mailers. Don't be fooled by the apparent simplicity of this product - the cleverly thought out work flow and navigation make walking through your production processes a breeze and make powerful editing and creation seem effortless. Step-by-step building blocks make using this suite very easy, intuitive and enjoyable. Honestly, with Mailchimp's layout, it is so simple to get up and running and producing quality, professional-looking outputs in no time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love how it caters to both those just starting out in creating mailers and campaigns and veterans alike who have more design and coding experience. For those just starting, a very clever 'building blocks' approach helps you piece together all the aspects you'll need for your campaign production, with nice hints and pointers along the way to encourage you and challenge your way of thinking. Equally, for those more experienced, Mailchimp actually offers a very powerful code editor enabling you to build very complex designs. Integrating other files and formats (documents, images, videos) is slick. Has a very plug-and-play feel to it!

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have two issues main issues with the product, first about price brackets and second about spam compliance. Ok, to get you started at small scale the tiers are sensibly priced. You get a set amount of contacts you can keep in a database and a set amount of mailer sends per month. Once you ramp up, the cost also ramps, significantly. Be mindful of this. Secondly we have experienced a number of users receiving mailers from this product where the content has been mis-classified as spam, which is frustrating as this should be one of the stronger elements of the offer. Don't get me wrong, these are in the minority, but it can still be annoying.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There are plenty of alternatives on the market, including 'free' tools. However I would greatly recommend this for a 3 reasons. Ease-of-use. Powerful functionality. Price/performance ratio for smaller companies. In this areas I don't think you can fault this solution.
