What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

It provides more data and analytics compared to Trello

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use in creating new tasks, assigning tasks, prioritizing tasks and organizing tasks

What do you dislike most about this product?

Once you figure out how to create a new task/story, it is very easy. However, creating a new task is not as blatantly clear and obvious as it should be.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Check out Trello first and see if it fits your business needs. Jira is just a super fancy Trello and you may not need/use all the features it provides.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Our engineering department, which consists of software engineers, Dev Ops, IT, and DBAs, uses Jira Software primarily. Our primary software tool for the Agile software development process is Jira Software. Jira is being used to ensure that our development process is flowing through an Agile framework and it helps to have a clear view of the project's timelines.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part of this product is Projects progress tracking and issue tracking - this maintains visibility for clients and consultants.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike about this product is the Learning curve - There is a learning curve to working in JIRA as it is not immediately intuitive to a new user. It usually requires a lot of learning in order to most effectively and optimally use JIRA

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jira is a good product for project organization and planning for agile teams that work asynchronously. The Jira software works well for managing scrum boards and allocating resources to a task.
