What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

More functionality than others.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the possibility of having a whole structure of a business organization and being able to organize epics, stories, and tasks in order to achieve sprint results on time. The best thing about the Jira is it is highly customizable and integrated with multiple tools, which help in different tasks. It has boards that help a lot while delivering maximum output in minimum time where people can see the progress of sprint and pick up next job and see what's remaining.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some code Integrations like Github makes the work complex.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its the best way to track the work in an agile way and maintaining the Boards and easily visible progress.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira has all the features needed to manage a software project according to the Scrum or Kanban methodology. When you use it, you can tell that the developers have thought through and considered all possible cases; there are always those "oh, how practical" moments. In addition, the dashboards and sprint views provide a very good overview of ongoing projects, as long as you keep them up to date. The second use case is about supporting the software development process. Here I use Jira to manage the backlog for specific teams. This starts with the registration of tasks and requirements, their concretization with the team up to the further breakd

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

With Jira we can cover all stages of agile software development. We use it primarily for project planning and documentation. It is also an important part of communication in the development team; the feedback function is often used to clarify requirements. Especially in the suite with Confluence, the full potential is realized. I use Jira for both multi-project management and to support the software development process for specific teams. For multi-project management, I use additional extensions that allow mapping multi-level planning and synchronizing tasks at a high level across multiple teams over a period of 6 weeks or more.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Jira is a very complex tool. This also means that, especially if you are responsible for processes, you should first deal intensively with the tool before using it. A "cold start" as with Trello, where you can get started, is not recommended, as the configuration made for projects is difficult to change afterwards without a lot of effort. Complexity also brings the risk of getting lost in the depths of the software or losing the overview. It is required as a discipline, both when configuring it and when using it in daily project work. Jira is essentially a bug tracker and is not easy to master. Jira has been established in software developmen

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jira offers a high degree of flexibility. Activities, link types and fields are highly customizable. However, the highlight is the expandability through extensions that can be obtained from Atlassian Marketplace. Jira is essentially a bug tracker. Over the years, Atlassian has added more and more functionality that also supports typical project management functions such as roadmaps. However, many extensions in Marketplace go further and add features such as GANTT charts to Jira without losing the flexibility of the core software. In addition, Jira requires a whole series of organizational arrangements, especially due to its high flexibility
