What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Easy to use, industry standard so little training need for new team members

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Backlog management and Sprint Management for delivery of product and engineering teams

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not much, I think there are a few features missing from their mobile app that would be handy but not critical

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Sign up for the trial version with limited users, also join some of the community groups and training, it can be easy to use but highly configurable. And make sure you consider integrations, for GitHub, Slack, etc they will stream line your processes.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

The support from users' feedback, bug reports to feature development is seamless. We use the Jira Service Management for requests, and when we can tie that right to the development ticket it gives us unparalleled traceability when it comes to product decisions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The custom fields and JQL (Jira Query Language). This will be extremely helpful for data-driven product management because it allows to note down an issue with specific data points like its urgency or from which feature and then execute complex queries to see all the trending data like which feature is most buggy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's hard to make good looking roadmaps for external stakeholders from its native format. Advanced Roadmaps can be great for internal planning, but we sometimes need to export data to other tools to present it simply to our non-technical stakeholders.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Get to know JQL as quickly as you can. It is the key to analysing the true power of Jira. Further, if from day one you do not define how issues can be categorized and tagged then your data will be too chaotic to analyze afterwards.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

I like Jira because it is highly scalable for both small teams and and large enterprises. I like how it provides strong workflow customization , task tracking and reporting capabilities that help us stay organized and productive.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira helps us manage deadlines, priorities and workloads effectively. I also like how it supports better decision making with real-time reporting and insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Jira has been very useful and I don't have anything negative to say about it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jira is great, cost-effective and user-friendly. I highly recommend it.
