What differentiates Heap from other similar products?

Price, the ease of use on the development/engineering side and the support from their team and the CSM/Account Executive team

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the integration with a centralized data warehouse makes it convenient to extract information and merge on other systems to implement business intelligence modeling

What do you dislike most about this product?

that reporting inside heap gets confusing especially as data is required from third party integrations since there is no complete control on the logic

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use heap to track user behavioral data, extract the data and merge it into a centralized data warehouse for more control and logic implementation on business data analizis

What differentiates Heap from other similar products?

Heap is very easy for analysts to use and quickly generate insights. I’ve been in many working meetings with a product owner, UI/UX lead, etc. and have been able to answer questions during the meeting. With the previous tool we were using, I had to take notes on the question and get back to them. Heap allows us to keep moving forward and making progress. Defining new events in Heap is fairly straight-forward and no need for a developer. Also, clients in Marketing and other areas have been able to modify and create reports, something they were unable to do with other similar products. The user interface is very intuitive and friendly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part of Heap is how quickly I can create reports and generate insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the visuals (graphs) aren’t my favorite, but it’s easy to bring the data into Excel or Tableau to create my own.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Talk to others who have used it, consider integrations with Heap vs AA/GA, etc.
