The Dynatrace platform unifies observability, business, and security data at a massive scale (Grail) with continually updated topology and dependency mapping (Smartscape) to capture and retain full-stack data context. It leverages hypermodal AI (Davis), combining predictive AI to anticipate future behaviors, causal AI to deliver precise answers and intelligent automation, and generative AI to automatically provide recommendations, create suggested workflows or dashboards, and let people use natural language to explore, solve, and complete tasks.

What differentiates Dynatrace from other similar products?

Dynatrace combines the ability to observe and security in one software. It also provides real time monitoring and notifications are sent into respective departments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Dynatrace among its competitors has been ranked easy to use. This is due to fact that its alerting system works effectively. It also provides graphs and charts for data presentation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The User interface is not user friendly from a non-technical perspective. Dynatrace comes with several versions, some of which have been reported to cause incidents. The alert mechanism however not as seamless as it should be.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a great platform for companies looking to save costs on observations, monitoring and security by getting different software. Dynatrace embeds them all in one.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like using Dynatrace as it has helped me in identifying root causes and detecting issues more efficiently than before. The way it provides full-stack visibility into applications and infrastructure has improved my performance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Dynatrace often sends wrong or too many alerts while detecting issues that are not even actionable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A great monitoring platform for your applications and infrastructure. Also, you will get an entire observability across the IT environment.
