Coupa is great at providing approvers with a synopsis of the details of a purchase order

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Coupa helps ensure virtually all purchase orders are in compliance with company policies

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are too many notification options for users to manage

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Coupa is well suited for making sure that purchase orders are in compliance with company policies. It is great for imposing specific requirements on how purchase orders are processed. The UI of Coupa is however not very intuitive

What differentiates Coupa Strategic Sourcing from other similar products?

Coupa has quickly become the Industry Standard with literally no peer. The tool has continued to evolve and improve since I first started using it in 2015-especially around Coupa Pay, Sourcing, and Analytics. The data Coupa provides to Procurement Leaders allows for tremendous Spend Under Management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Contracts, catalogs, the Coupa Supplier Portal, and data analytics.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the legacy data tables are siloed which limits a small fraction of the reporting. It's a small irritant at times.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The value this tool brings is unparalleled in the Procurement realm. The ROI is quick, integration and launch is very straight forward, and the chance of your internal users not adopting/using it is nearly non-existent. I don't know anyone in Procurement who doesn't admire this tool.

The UX and easy to use is still a big differentiator from Coupa

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

UX is really their value

What do you dislike most about this product?

the way vendors data are managed are absolutely not relevant for 2021. Administration is very complex where the tool seems to be very easy to use for end users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Making sure you have strong skills in the integration team and do not let you IT to drive. Be very cautious on customization by thinking how you will maintain after.
