What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

One of the uses that this tool has had within my organization is as a base for internal and external consultation and has been very useful in providing quick solutions to problems and incidents that arise with the products and services we offer. The flow of information has been another factor greatly improved with the acquisition of this tool; it is a great ally to store, refresh, and consult the documentation of the organization's projects, products, and services.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the way I can collaborate with my colleagues through Confluence and how the whole team can contribute and organize information within the environment; it serves to complement each other. Its storage capacity and access to accumulated knowledge make it comparable to wiki tools; it has a perfect knowledge base. Another thing I like about this tool's its ability to integrate with numerous external tools to extend its reach and functionality within the organization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing this tool has against it is its limitations when integrating with third-party tools; other than that, I can't find anything I don't like about Confluence.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Confluence is one of the best tools for managing and using information; it has an exemplary user interface, easy to understand and easy to use, and the incorporation of new personnel is fast. I recommend it because it is an excellent resource for any company.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Enables sharing and insights across totally different departments. Ability to check content in alternative departments. The ability for all users to own public access to make their content. The option to insert different pages or documents makes it easier to stay in confluence and not ought to toggle to different applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I realize Confluence is simple to use for collecting my thoughts, documents, research, and providing resources to my company. It’s easy to feature content, however additionally easy to share links and find what I want with the handy dandy search functionality. I will simply create a page or space private, limit the audience or open it up to everyone. Simple to manage access. What do you dislike most about this product?

Documents format is often fiddly and problematic. Generally, we discover ourselves in a situation, where we simply use basic document formatting to avoid spending overtime attempting to urge additional advanced formatting in place. There’s no method of period collaboration when editing documents in Confluence. This can be a typical feature for Google Drive, and Confluence would heavily advantage of} having the same system in place. The general interface isn’t precisely the most user-friendly. We had multiple cases of team members complaining about how much difficult its interface is and requesting additional training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With all its limitations, I would suggest using Confluence to about each organization that needs a tool for advanced documentation control. By default, it’s a software system for team collaboration, however, it can of course do far more than simply that. With just a bit of additional effort, you’ll implement integration.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence, as I think, shouldn't be mentioned without its belonging to Atlassian infrastructure, and if only you use Jira, then you definitely need a workspace to create technical task and collect all the artifacts. And Confluence deals with it greatly

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Huge amount of macros that can be integrated with Confluence, from official to custom / open-source. You can transform usual and bleak blank text document into really powerful workspace regarding almost everything: from current task progress to data from many additional sources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes designing a document (its layout) is not such simple as in basic MS Word / Google Docs

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Should work together with Jira and probably Trello. Atlassian products one by one is not such good as in synergy with others among its brand infrastructure
