Easy security measures with just DNS settings

What differentiates Cisco Umbrella from other similar products?
It is useful to be able to centrally manage only the devices under the company's control, check the number of accesses, make changes such as security locks and check the device usage rate. The user does not have to worry about security operations and simply changes the DNS to protect the network. It feels very secure to be able to secure a teleworker environment in an unprotected UTM environment. It is useful to be able to centrally manage only the devices under the company's control, check the number of accesses, make changes such as security locks and check the device usage rate.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In particular, it is possible to adjust various settings, such as restricting the sites that can be accessed or removing the Internet connection only for certain devices. In addition, the total number of accesses per month is also known, which is very useful for data collection. It is a cloud-based security measure, so it can be consulted from anywhere, and it is not heavy, which is very useful.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would appreciate it if you could instantly determine if protection is disabled or not to isolate the possibility of a problem like normal antivirus software. I was worried about the introduction because I thought it was weak on security and IT but it turned out to be a great help when it was simple to implement.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Until now, I was reassured that enterprise security was well designed with VPNs and firewalls, but with the expansion of teleworking, I thought it was necessary to protect every line. This Cisco Umbrella is cloud-based and can be protected by DNS configuration, so security protection is possible in teleworking and the administrators' working hours have been greatly reduced. With an easy-to-read administration screen and simple configuration, it is possible to filter out prohibited sites even in a non-UTM environment, and I believe it is the perfect security software in this age of increased teleworking.
