What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

A feature that I find interesting about Zoom and that I think makes it different from other tools of this style is the ability to create micro rooms within the same video call, that seems excellent to be able to create small discussion spaces and generate tables of work. It is great for organizing remote meetings between different areas, because each one can be organized in its micro room and then have a conversation all in a larger room. I think it is excellent that as an organizer you can have several coordinators within those rooms in order to have control of who leaves and who enters.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite feature of Zoom is the flipped classroom function, it is a way to make meetings visually more realistic and gives dynamism to the video call. Apart from that you can play with the multiple backgrounds that you can place on your screen depending on your taste, I consider that this function provides that touch of intimacy to the tool since you can work from wherever you want without having to constantly worry about the background of your space.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Visually I don't like the toolbar, nor the interface design, they seem a bit boring to me. The toolbar is quite complete, but it is not intuitive, clearly you have to experiment many times with it to find out where the functions are or to know what each of its icons means. They could make it more striking to more easily remember the location of each function.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend the use of Zoom in its premium version as it provides greater capacity for meetings, and meeting times are longer. Regarding its functions, it is superior to many other similar tools, it is noted that it is designed to be able to control massive meetings, and even as a guest I am also surprised by how well the tool handles, there is no need to have a broadband to be able to make video calls fluently. As a free version, I still think they could provide more features.

The feature that makes Zoom a unique tool is that it provides high-quality meetings and you can save them to share them with third parties, even if you don't have access to a paid version, and for which anyone can use. With Zoom, there is no need to have more knowledge of technological tools, so using the functions and tools that Zoom brings does not generate any problem to organize meetings from home. It seems to me that it has everything necessary to conduct meetings without this becoming a protocol problem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Of the features that Zoom has, my favorite is the option of being able to connect with many people at the same time and the quality of the video calls continues to be maintained regardless of the number of people connected to the meeting. In the same way, the visualization of people at the same time within a window is also good and the interaction through the chat seems excellent to me, this helps when someone does not have the possibility of using the microphone, in addition you can place label emojis and that way make the meetings dynamic

What do you dislike most about this product?

The meeting experience could be improved as the application is optimized for screen sharing. Normally the screen sharing function is very good and of quality, however, the application is not designed to be optimal on all devices so it begins to present some image and sound failures, of course this is not frequent.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The Zoom application is quite useful nowadays, you no longer have to wait to gather a group of people when you want to give some information or when you want to give a talk. Now anyone with a computer or smartphone can use it. My recommendation is that you take into account improving the version for smart devices, it should be optimized both to access the waiting room and to share screen from the phone.

The storage capacity in your drive system is a great feature that makes Zoom a different tool. With this feature you can make any type of meeting and record it then share it with other people, this reaches you in the mail and you can re-view the content without problem. In addition, with Zoom it is always possible to have access to the people who are allowed to access the meetings, it is worth mentioning this tool is so versatile that it can be used both at work and in personal matters from the use of cell phones regardless of their operating system .

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The function that I like about this system is the option to record the video call. I find it very useful that we not only have to settle for attending virtual meetings, but if for some reason it is not possible to attend, that video will always be available to share. In addition, the option to record screen helps that the tool can be used to develop courses and control them according to what is needed. Also, this feature is useful when you want to create a library of forums, courses, and meetings.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I do not like that the version for smart devices does not allow screen sharing, this is limited only for computers, I do not like that since we do not always have the information we want to share stored on the computer, so this forces the user to port with a computer if you want to share something with the other people in the video call.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zoom undoubtedly contains many functions that are designed to provide a pleasant experience for the guests of any meeting. It is normal that applications like these, with so many functions clearly generate a cost, however, it should be taken into account that for small companies the use of the paid version of Zoom can be expensive, so I recommend its use as a test and if you are insurance, acquire your license without a doubt since it offers a lot.
