Simple video conferencing platform

What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?
1. Zoom has both web and application level interfaces. 2. Very easy to setup and single link join up is quite amazing feature. 3. Instant messaging while meeting is cool feature and easily able to handle several people with low bandwidth internet. 4. Background abstraction is cutting edge technology. Where messy background can be easily ommitted.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Most favorite part of Zoom is that you can easily start video call from chat directly. And can even switch to private room as well. Free tier features also help new people to try out this platform for standard usage, which was ours on of the reason to switch to zoom and now we have purchased premium set.
What do you dislike most about this product?
1. There should be more control for admins over other participants, like he should be able to mute or send private message which appears on screen with priority. 2. Recording is local storage, thus utilizes resource capabilities. Users should be provided choices for custom storage service. 3. Sometimes some users are not able to participate again once kicked, happened once or twice.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Zoom is heading in right direction, it is free, easy to setup, provides free usage for standard usage. If one is look for video conferencing or meeting related solution then Zoom is 100% for you, but it does not have the suit capabilites that google and alternatives offer. Zoom provides what is meant to deliver, a simple audio video meeting platform.
