Easy to manage test management along with Tosca

What differentiates Tricentis qTest from other similar products?
Since it is a product from Tricentis, If we are using Tosca or any other tool from Tricentis then it's good to have qTest for management because it becomes very easy to integrate it with other tools. I had integrated qTest with Tosca and execute my automated test cases from qTest itself. All the logs are automatically get stored in qTest from Tosca and It saves lots of time to copy-paste the results while doing regression testing.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the way they separate cycle and sprint and release from each other. You can have your requirements in one place and those requirements are linked with all other required artifacts such as test cycles and test cases. The linkage between all test artifacts is also one of the best features which helps to navigate to all of them from one place.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As I already mentioned, the GUI is not very active. Sometimes it takes time or refreshes the browser to see the changes we have done, which is very annoying. Also when dealing with a test run and test execution, it becomes not so good when we are attaching attachments. Also sometimes the popup messages of success and failure of operations are also getting delay due to which repeated things are done in the application.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
qTest is one of the good Test management tools which will hold all your test artifacts and can help you to create a test framework. Defect logging and test case execution are one of the key features. I personally recommend it when you are working in DevOps culture and using some other Tricentis products for better integration.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Trustworthy
- Friendly Negotiation
- Helps Innovate
