What differentiates ThreatDown from other similar products?

The technical support guys have tried best at times and the interface is quite simplistic

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Stops Ransomware Attacks Blocks Hacking Attempts Identifies Vulnerabilities and Required Patches Protects Our Clients' Networks and Data

What do you dislike most about this product?

Their Accounting Department - Double Billing My Company at times

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Software stopped our OnApp, Windows 2016 virtual servers from restarting cleanly. Software didn't clearly show you if virus scans etc. were not running. I was told that there were no refunds allowed because I was given a free trial and should have realised that the software was incompatible with our systems. This is strange as they are constantly updating this system (it seems rather immature) so there is no saying that some update that occurred after we signed up wasn't what caused the problem with restarting.

Pros

  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity

  • Efficient Service

What differentiates ThreatDown from other similar products?

There are two things that make Malwarebytes EDR unique in my experience. It's incredibly lightweight on system resources. This is a major plus for me here in the UAE, where we often have to deal with resource-constrained machines

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Malwarebytes' focus on exploit mitigation is top-notch. They're constantly adding new ways to block attackers from taking advantage of vulnerabilities, which is essential in today's threat landscape

What do you dislike most about this product?

It doesn't have the most extensive threat hunting capabilities compared to some other EDR products. This means I might need to rely on other tools to go on deep dives and investigate suspicious activity

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're a security engineer looking for a lightweight and effective endpoint protection solution, Malwarebytes EDR is definitely a strong contender

Pros

  • Trustworthy
  • Unique Features
  • Efficient Service
  • Acts with Integrity
