What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

We use Smartsheet directly for day-to-day administration in our sales operations. Our internal and external marketing partners use Smartsheet as a form entry tool to be able to collect all the necessary information from each customer. It gives us the option to create informative dashboards and above all to show us all the options in terms of closed deals, billing KPIs, business opportunities and products proposed by our potential customers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet has allowed us to create powerful and customized dashboards, as well as integrations and data collection through one or several databases integrated to CRM such as Jira or Salesforce through the SaaS product. We have been able to implement comments, reminders, attachments and optimizations all under one interface, as well as being able to create custom forms allowing us to filter content as required.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does not allow to filter files uploaded in folders, it only allows to do it through attachments between rows and that is somewhat tedious. We need more customization in terms of graphic components that Smartsheet shows us, as well as visual marketing boards and cards. More filters that fluidly and dynamically change all available data are needed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Smartsheet is an ideal software for seeking improvement and order within companies that do not have it through the use of workflows, input through forms and data through dashboards. Smartsheet integrations are done effectively and have no delays with any client.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Smartsheet boasts of the most robust automation tools of any software that I have used. This tools comes with an incredible set of connectors , workflows , and integration options. The availability of the aforementioned , coupled with its drag and drop automation builder, makes the process of setting up automations on Smartsheet to be pretty straightforward .

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet provides options for us to bring new functionalities into its software environment , through add-ons. We've taken advantage of this to add digital asset management and portfolio management capabilities into Smartsheet. Thereby giving rise to improved time tracking and advanced analytical reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Activity logs on Smartsheet is limited , making it time consuming to track important project activity updates. I should highlight the absence of a kanban board feature too , which is as a result of Smartsheet being completely spreadsheet based.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The best spreadsheet software for managing projects.
